Review of Bachelorette (2012) by Greg L — 24 Jun 2014
As cold, sour, and biting as a glass of iced lemon juice, but not without its moments. While the satire of the cattiness and superficiality of female friendships and the cringe comedy work pretty well, the unearned swerves into sentimentality don't so much, since the script doesn't do enough to redeem its almost entirely unlikable characters.
You've got to be in the right mood for this one but it's good for a few bitter laughs if you are.
