Review of Babylon A.D. (2008) by Adam C — 30 Aug 2009
It's not terrible, but; it's not that brilliant either. The acting for the most part is rubbish with the supporting cast at points out shining the lead.
This brings me nicely to Vin Diesel. I think he's made some poor decisions over his career and this looks like yet another example of this. I almost felt embaressed for him as this was an editorial hack job, but then again he has broad shoulders so I think he can take the critism.
Overall visually it had moments of brilliance although very short lived and as a whole package it left me a bit numb although the sound track is impressive.
