Review of Babylon A.D. (2008) by Abemc — 12 May 2016
A convoluted mess of a story that is well-acted and brilliantly shot (I saw the Director's / Extended Cut). It tries hard to be profound but never really earns it. I find plot holes easy to ignore if the film is gripping, but either Babylon AD isn't that entertaining, or the writing really is THAT shoddy.
If you're a fan of any of the actors involved give it a look, because all of them do their best (especially Diesel). But keep your expectations low so you won't be too disappointed.
