Review of Baby Face (1933) by Mathieu C — 10 Jun 2007
This film is really something, controversial when it was released in 1933 but I know if it was remade today it would still be controversial. Babara Stanwyck basicly sleeps her way up the economic ladder, she leaves me lying everywhere, the lucky ones leave her clutches with their lives.
She doesn't kill them, but many find themselves in awful situations after having an affair with her. The film is a great study on how women can manupulate men and at the same time a moral tale about what it really means to live a heartless life.
