Wow. Watch the "prerelease" Director's Cut. This movie was hacked for release and helped inspire the famous "Hays Code" censorship. Stanwyck is mesmerizing. It does lose a little steam at the end as some have mentioned.
But it is a short, wicked, glorious primer, inspired hilariously by Nietzsche.
