Review of Baby Face (1933) by Bradford D — 02 Apr 2011
The pre-release version rings more truly and portrays the characters with real motivations. It quotes Nietzsche and doesn't shy away from the hard life from which Stanwyck's character broke. The theatrical release should be trashed.
It's a sugar-coated fable.
