Review of Baby Driver (2017) by Ethanstapley — 16 Dec 2017
My favourite film of the year. This is a more subtle film than the rest of Edgar Wright's films but in my opinion it's his greatest accomplishment yet. The cast bounce off each other magnificently and Elgort is a surprisingly compelling lead.
The action is exhilarating thanks to the fact that it's all actually real and not just CGI and the music that accompanies the film adds so much flavour to scenes and those sequences become really vivid when you listen back to the soundtrack.
Amazing, breathtaking journey.
