Review of Babette's Feast (1987) by Jeff B — 14 Jun 2007
Good Oscar winning foreign film from Denmark about two aging sisters and their cook Babette. I really enjoyed the second half with the feast, it was funny and well done. I liked that all of the guests were so scared about French food, some had nightmares about what was to happen.
The first half was a little slow but it was still a good film. However, I watched it on tv and it was dubbed, and I despise dubbed films.
