Review of Babette's Feast (1987) by Sandy S — 07 Sep 2007
No frills. Lots of food. Even for a lover of greens I found the excitement around the final feast palpable. Her arrival & the way she touches lives, the acceptance, trepidation & final surrender to the palate, draws the canvas from restraint to pleasure.
Sinful or pure freedom, is entirely your call!
