Review of Babette's Feast (1987) by Alec S — 07 Feb 2008
A very slow moving film that doesn't accomplish much of anything on the surface. While being simplistically beautiful its actors seem to suffer a bit with some lines, and with their delivery on more than one occasion, and many scenes in the end only end up being filler.
Overall a decent movie, but certainly will not speak to all viewers.
