VERY ambitious movie for the time, and they pulled it off perfectly. Not only is there the perfect Comedy of Laurel and Hardy, there are also two musical numbers and a great plot. And theres some brilliant stop-motion animation near the end.
I mean, come on, this is 1934! Amazing.
