Review of Babel (2008) by Jack C — 25 Jun 2012
Babel really tries to stretch the boundaries of the multiple storyline film. But it lacks the elegance and intimacy needed (see Magnolia) to pull it off. However, the film redeems itself thematically, conveying ideas of family, forgiveness, and death that are the base layers of any Inarritu film.
