Review of Babel (2008) by Johnny C — 04 Jun 2010
A complex, multicultural tale of interconnectedness. There's beautiful cinematography and an amazing soundtrack. The movie is long, but it could have added another 20-30 minutes to flesh out the Japanese story, or cut another 20-30 minutes to remove it entirely, as it sort of feels thrown in there just to add a fourth country.
Regardless, still a very good and memorable film.
