Review of Babel (2008) by Matt H — 11 Jun 2018
This is a wondefully shot film that kept me guessing for quite sometime. I think the link between all of the stories were cool if not a little far fetched. I found the Japanese girls story the least interesting, seemed to be there to shock us really more than anything.
I think it could have been that bit better and dragged on a little but the initial hour really interested me and I was playing a guessing game as to how each story linked with each other after that. I think some of the cinematography of the Morrocan mountains is amazing.
All in all it is a very good film with a little few tweaks in the story it could have been brilliant. I'd recommend this film to people who enjoy a film where the sub plots link up to the main story and anyone who enjoys other culutures.
