Review of Babe: Pig in the City (1998) by Paul R — 29 Nov 2007

While clearly this was a cashcow to the original's success, the story is completely different yet equally genuine- a true risk compared to the formulaic franchises out there. The dark side delivered in this film still operates on a simplicity that kids can understand, while also hitting home to adults which is why many rebuke the film- they simply want to sheild their kids from some basic realities that this film can help them engage with later in life.
