If "Babe" was aimed at 1st and 2nd-graders, than "Babe: Pig in the City" is aimed at who they are 3 years later in grades 4 and 5, and that's why this sequel is a little more dramatic, a little more mature, and a touch darker.
It's also one hell of a good adventure. One of the very best of 1998.
