Review of Baadasssss! (2004) by Andrew B — 05 Jan 2008
It's moving and funny, all in an understated way. I've always heard of Mario Van Peebles as a B actor, but watching his masterful acting and directing in this film makes me want to rent all his and his father's movies, and watch with a different eye.
The entire cast did an excellent job, and the fact that it's a true story makes the triumph at the end all the more meaningful.
