This was a great movie from Mario Van Peebles about how Sweet Sweetback's Baddddassssss Song got made.
So interesting and it was great to a movie made about how another movie got made.
Mario Van Peebles plays his father Melvin Van Peebles and does an excellent job.
There was a lot of heart and soul put into this movie and you can see it pour out of every frame.
It gives you an amazing perspective of what it can take for people to get a movie made without the backing of a studio.
