Review of Azumi (2003) by Private U — 06 Jan 2009
Another masterpeice from Kitamura. It has a more gritty, realistic edge to it when compared to Versus, but the overall style and cinematography remain the same. The final battle where she takes on 200 baddies in an adapting freeform stunt/fight is very accomplished.
