I loved it so much.
We tend to ignore the struggles and heartaches of the elderly, but, really, they must cope with one of the scariest journeys in human experience: physical and mental deterioration which always leads to death. not only must they themselves experience it, but they have to watch the person they've spent their life with slowly crumble away, and often become someone they no longer know or understand.
A wife of fourty-some years sinks slowly into Alzheimers and her husband must cope with her becoming a completely different person. what makes it worse is their relationship, which is one of fierce devotion and soul-binding love.
Brilliant acting from the three main actors, especially Gordon Pinsent who brims with eye-watering emotion.
