An excellent directorial debut by Sarah Polley, this film set in mid-western Ontario features Oscar-worthy performances by Gordon Pinsent and Julie Christie. (Note: Part of the cast and crew stayed at the hotel I was working at and I had the privilege of serving Mr.
Pinsent a drink). This is a heartfelt story of a woman afflicted by Alzheimer's.
