Review of Away from Her (2007) by Bruno C — 16 Oct 2010
Sarah Polley did a great job in her directorial debut (I think?), a very tender and sad portrayal of the elderly and Alzheimer's. Brilliant acting and a great script that humanizes, updates and transforms the typical portrayal of older folks.
The film does get a bit too wordy but that doesn't detract much from the overall strength of the film.
