Review of Away from Her (2007) by Armand E — 14 Nov 2010

I don't even know where to begin. The subject matter in this movie is impeccable, and it truly makes you wonder what would you do? I constantly found myself thinking and examining my own moral code.

When a movie makes you look at yourself, I think something has been accomplished. The acting performances were outstanding. So somber and extremely realistic. You felt pain as you watched Pinsent's character make subtle facial expressions that scream for help.

I never found myself bored, and as each scene passed I didn't want it to end. The soundtrack in this film was also amazing, very ambient and calm. Overall this is a great movie, and is easily in my top 10.

Pick this one up.
