I love the quirkiness and realness of the characters in this movie. Valerie Lemercier is wonderful. In fact, great peformances all around! This movie captures exactly how I felt as an outsider living in Paris - That the city is beautiful, vibrant, dirty, dusty, delicious, and pulsing with expression - yet as much as I love the city and its people, I am only an observer of all of this, apart.
Moments of true connection are precious.
