Review of Avengers: Infinity War (2018) by Legitsalt — 24 Apr 2019
Although the majority of the movie was simply a CG v. CG fest, it still managed to entertain a (mostly) cohesive story. On the topic of CG, some of the CG in the first few scenes was especially. This was especially apparent with the opening scene, and the first fight scene (the one in New York).
The rest was pretty good, but Thanos' motives are fundamentally flawed and mirror eugenic thinking. It was pretty fun but didn't quite hold up upon second viewing. This is definitely a cultural phenomenon and, in that sense, it is a must see.
