Man is this movie overrated, I mean I was literally bored to tears watching this movie in the theaters. First of despite the CG being impressive, I could still tell it was CG. CG does not make the movie, in fact I like to call this an animated movie it used so much CG.
The story has been used to death, mostly by mediocre kids films and the much better Dances with Wolves. The scenes drag on so much that it is almost impossible for me not to stop caring halfway through each of them.
The writing is godawful, it is near the level of The Fox and the Hound, but were that movie had a strong story and among the best atmosphere ever, this does not. It is preachy, yeah man is evil, I get it.
I hate some of the acting in this movie, it can get really annoying at times. I'll give it one star because the action is okay. Movies to watch other than this: Dances with Wolves: same story done 1000000X better, and any other James Cameron movie, he has a lot of great ones.
