Review of Avatar (2011) by Ivan J — 12 Dec 2018
This movie is both good and bad. The CGI was good and bad. Also, the movie that was stretched was also good and bad. What I mean by this is, it had clear cons but the pros stump the cons. Example: the movie being stretched was bad because the movie felt boring and dull, but the ending scene was quite violent, luckily the movie being stretched and being shown the Humans being bad to the Aliens was more justified and allowed. The CGI was more bad than good because in scenes it was more life like, in others it was cartoony. But we have never seen an Avatar movie before. The plot was great but lazy at times not many plot twists. I wish they added more though. The voice acting was absolutely superb, it was incredible. Michelle Rodriguez acting her sacrifice was amazing, and without no character development, made me cry. I would like to add that the main general army type guy should've died at the start. I would recommend this. And I believe that the age rating should be 15 for sex, nudity, strong language, violence, and gore.
Grade: A-.
