Review of Avatar (2009) by Rock L — 17 Dec 2018
A company of explorers travel to a new world in search of a rare and valuable mineral. The natives of this new world are much more in-tune with nature than the settlers, so much so that they're able to talk to trees.
One of the settlers falls in love with the daughter of the native chief, but she's already betrothed to a strong warrior from her tribe. When said strong warrior gets killed by one of the settlers, it sparks a war between the two races, with the two lovers caught in the middle.
But in the end, love wins out and the two races are able to find a way to coexist. So all in all, Pocahontas was actually a pretty good movie. ...Wait, what do you mean this isn't the Pocahontas remake?
