I feel like after Aliens, Cameron made movies only for CGI, I mean this film did have a lot of amazing CGI. I saw this when I was 13 when it came out so of course I thought it was amazing. The narrative is a little iffy.

I felt like they could have worked around that some how. Plot wise, it's not that great, like I said this is definitely a movie that is remembered for the CGI. I wouldn't go as far as to say it was the 'best movie of 2009.

' just because the plot wasn't that good. It's unfortunate that a lot of sci-fi movies are only good for that. I did feel like it dragged on for too long, they could have summed it up way sooner.

I didn't really like how it turned towards the whole 'Cowboys & Indians' storyline near the end, but it's worth watching once.
