Review of Avalon (2001) by Thom M — 01 Aug 2007
A collaboration between Japanese and Polish film makers, Avalon manages to mix managa ideas with a Kafka-esque 'reality' filled with bleak imagary of a near-future virtual reality roleplay/shoot'em up.
The acting is superb and the story line has a subtlety that is rarely found in this genre. Exellent.
