Review of Automata (2011) by Richie W — 10 May 2015
Starts off in a very promising way - post-apocalyptic athmosphere, a gripping puzzle that is worth following and an interesting-enough character who is investigating the case of how artificial intelligence manages to overcome its own programming.
so far, so good, but unfortunately a number of sub-plots get in the way of what otherwise could have been an overall great movie - the family issues of banderas, his childhood memories, the incomprehensible actions of the company banderas works for to only name a few.
