I never knew how much I wanted to see Antonio Banderas slow dance with a robot until I saw this. There are several humorous parts, but I'm not sure they were intended to be. Multiple scenes come across as hammy, Banderas seems mismatched for the role.
Cage must have been busy. As far as post-apocalyptic detective stories about machines becoming sentient go, it's decent.
