With incredible cinematography and art direction, Australia lacks in the complete package that Luhrmann's Moulin Rouge! encompassed. Nonetheless, Australia is an enterataining film, it just could have done without the seemingly-forced Pearl Harbor last act.

After three hours, I would have hoped I cared for the characters, but I still did not, which is even more frustrating because I am a huge fan of the lead actors...
