Review of Australia (2008) by Eva3Si0N — 16 Aug 2021
Australia on the trailer looks like an epic story against the backdrop of the Second World War. You are waiting for the scope of history and events. The cast of level A, excellent camera work when filming large-scale scenes.
But something is missing. The main antagonist is poorly spelled out in the script, the topic of racial segregation seems to have been raised, but not revealed. And according to this, Australia does not give the feeling that you are watching a large-scale and cool movie.
Perhaps I demand too much, but Baz Luhrmann did not stretch the level. His subsequent film turned out much better.
