Review of August: Osage County (2013) by Marcdoyle — 27 Dec 2013
The movie is good, but the play was SO much better. I enjoyed the individual acting performances; however, the omissions from the play are so stark that it's really a shell of its former self. I'd certainly recommended it for people who have not seen the play, but for those who have, please moderate your expectations.
