Review of August: Osage County (2013) by Ellie H — 23 Mar 2014
I don't think I have ever seen a more dysfunctional family in my life. "August: Osage County" is centered around a matriarchal dominated family after three sister's dad passes. Bringing them all back together was the worst possible idea ever.
Based off of a play, this movie has wonderful cinematography followed by stellar direction. There were emotional scenes followed by "dying of laughter scenes" followed by scenes of disgust. Topped off with an A-list cast, this movie was one of a kind.
