Review of August: Osage County (2013) by Sam C — 21 Apr 2014
A philosophically poignant and emotionally draining depiction of cataclysmic events in a family bread by a legacy of cruelty mothers scapegoating their offsprings. An antithesis to misogyny and sometimes brutally overbearing exploration of an excessively dysfunctional family dynamic.
