Review of Audition (2000) by Curtis S — 26 Apr 2009
Very backloaded in terms of pacing. I felt this movie though. I felt how love is blinding and will make a person oblivious to glaring faults in a potential partner. Loneliness is a feeling that drives people to extremes to destroy it.
This movie felt real despite the absurdity of it, and I felt like I could have easily been the protagonist. Likeable characters, and you even feel sorry for the girl. Great flick.
