Review of Audition (2000) by Ifiok O — 08 Nov 2009
No one would ever suspect that such a young beautiful woman could ever be so capable of dishing out such cruelty. With this film, it's the key to understanding just how sick and demented J-Horror films can be.
Here, the horror works on both a visual and a psychological level, as shown in the film's key moments. There's not much else to say about this movie except, well, the last 15 minutes are unforgettably brutal.
