Everyone I talked to afterward enjoyed this movie more than I did. During the movie I grew increasingly impatient with the fools that would follow this nut job anywhere. The payoff is the powerpoint near the end - An ambitious 8 point plan (directly from God?) that the megalomaniac minister springs on his astonishingly pliable flock.
Is it funny? - well yes - but I wanted to turn away - the minister and congregation are so pathetically delusional that I found it hard to watch.
