Review of Au Revoir les Enfants (1987) by Shannon F — 11 Nov 2007
I saw this in Providence, Rhode Island my junior year in high school with one of my best friends who was attending Brown University at the time. It was a packed theatre, and when the credits rolled, not one person got up to leave.
Everyone just remained seated. My friend and I sat there stunned with tears streaming down our faces. A masterpiece of a film.
