I haven't seen this since I was 11 or 12, my mom and I drove 2.5 hours from our farm in iowa to chicago to see it for a night out or maybe it was my birthday... and I just remember it was great, and I was teary and touched.
and that my mom, a theater director, loved louis malle ;). will have to check it out again...
