Review of Au Revoir les Enfants (1987) by Wu C — 24 Mar 2008
An amazing film. I hadn't seen it since film school. It is much more potent as one grows older and can take in the huge level of profound horror left in the wake of the Holocaust. I admit that I was on the edge of my seat.
.. which is strange for such an understated film. It is a classic that should not be missed. Not a good date film.
