A great heartbreaking classic. One of the best movies ever made and absolutely one of France's greatest achievements. It is one of those rare films wherein you are mesmerized and absorbed by the film's environment and characters from the very first frame.
Suffice to say that I have loved everything about this film and cannot believe that it took me so long to see. Very highly recommended!!
