Review of Au Hasard Balthazar (1966) by Frances B — 15 Jul 2007

I feel like I was meant to be a lot more impressed with this film. I don't see sacrifice, suffering, or humility as primarily religious so all that religious "allegory" and "metaphor" was lost on me.

I like the idea of hands as representative of the person, and the parallels were "nice". but I didn't enjoy the film mostly because all that was meant to be religious is more universal to me.

makes me want to own a donkey. haha.
