Review of Attack the Block (2011) by Philip N — 19 Mar 2012
The monsters are quite cool but a slight rip off as they look based on 2001s apes. It is a very British movie playing on the whole new young hoods instead of gangsters but they are having to deal with monsters and not people.
One problem I have against the film is that this isn't a great advertisement for kids not to mess about with fireworks. Watch out for the line about Ronnie's Weed room. Only give it a watch if you like a horror alternative and are loving the hood movies!
