Review of Attack the Block (2011) by Kevin E — 13 Apr 2012
After all the positive reviews I had to check it out. Its issues are quite the opposite of typical lower budget films (9 mil). Amazing lighting, a real testament to the brilliant DP and visual effects, and solid euro soundtrack (slightly less edgy than misfits).
Story was interesting but rather forced character development. Almost an after thought. I'd recommend it for fun/visuals.
