Campy, cheesy, pointless, but thats the point. This movie was made to be bad, made to be mocked. It was made to make fun of such movies, I mean, if giant spiders are the stuff of nightmares, why not tomatoes? Sure, this movie is a piece of crap, but that is the whole point.
The creators didn't make this to be a masterpiece. And no one who watches it should expect anything like that. Watch it, mock it, laugh, and enjoy it.
