Now this is the greatest spoof movie of the 70's/ 80's. It mocks the horror genra very well with the bad plot bad monsters and the bad acting. Some people don't like the movie because of the list above, and they don't get the real joke.
The joke that all horror movies of that time period was almost like that. It is making fun of that period kind of like the "scary movies" films are doing today, but killer tomatoes is so so so so so so so much better.
