Review of Attack of the Crab Monsters (1957) by Private U — 10 Dec 2007
Giant styrofoam crab legs dynamite an island while eating scientists and soldiers! They're made "not of electrons but of radioactive atoms", and can ingest people's brains in such a way that everything the person knew becomes a part of the crab, which allows the crab to make the person's brain (and voice) speak through inanimate objects like guns and hammers! It all makes sense in Roger Corman's world! There's also a pit involved, and a lady scientist in love with two guys who look exactly the same, and some French guys.
..if this wasn't featured on MST3K, then it really should have been.
